Stanford Is for techies and nerds. It is not an ivy. It is for people who are really just there to get a job and maybe some ambition. THe unfortunate is it's not an ivy it's a leadership oriented and nice kid place. It is not at all any sort of ivy, and is bad in that sense. It is shallow, and often extreme and there is a sense of liberalism like in UC berkeley, with parties that are wild, and protesting, and whacky traditions. The people are nicer than most places, and it is similar to USC at times, but as a result of the extremeness or the nerdiness people can often be study freaks and lack a real center, or be just fake. It is a path to be a doctor, or anything. Elon Musk attended and so did Jerry Yang of Yahoo startup and Sergey Brin. Don't let the success here fool you, many people end up as normal jobs as any college graduate. In fact, we'd say the school itself wouldn't help the kids here. We'd argue despite the names, it is really nothing more than a good place to be driven. It's tough to say the Elon was really helped by his Stanford experience. But he went there, but that doesn't say anything about the school. Harvard - Geeks and ambitious learners and leaders. Yale - Similar to Duke. Duke - I don't know if there is any type here. Probably best for someone into getting a job somewhere, and studying for it here. It's similar to UCB that most just get jobs after graduating. Ambition is not very high. There are a handful of CEOs that came from Duke: Aubrey Mcclendon, Tim Cook graduate program. But unfortunately, there are a few actors that don't seem to have much presence, but maybe a few sitcoms. Def not as good as USC. More of a weird place, involving being an obscure loser nerd, as someone puts it. It sucks because it's not like it really helps get a gig. It's tough to see how it's good. USC - An all around solid. It is classicly attended by many actors and musicians and more. Kids here often are connected to mainstream presence, and the school is well connected and opportunified. Good enough, and not as bad in environment as Duke. No specifics for who should go. UC Berkeley, Extremely eclectic and nerdy. These are really weird folks, and most are very awk and focus on some minor intellectual stuff, and say weird things, etc. It seems like a hothouse, and I find this to this date, the weirdest and worst place. I've never so off, and fake with faux intellectuallism, and just really stupid stuff. The environment is much worse than Ivies, and it's a freak show. I guess it's good for freaks. Reed - The best place to go
